Mechanized Farmer Producer Company Limited (MFPCL) is a farmer-focused organization based in Nowshera, District Rajouri, Jammu & Kashmir, established on 29 August 2021 with a clear purpose — to improve farmers' incomes, strengthen agriculture and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural communities.
Our journey began by closely observing the challenges faced by farmers in the Nowshera region. Agriculture here is largely dependent on rainfall, while irrigation facilities are limited. Irregular rainfall, increasing input costs, declining soil health and limited access to better markets were making farming increasingly difficult for small and marginal farmers.
We believed that farmers should not be forced to abandon their land because agriculture was no longer providing them with a sustainable income.
OUR STORY
From a Challenge to a Vision
Nowshera is a predominantly hilly and rain-dependent agricultural region. For many farming families, agriculture is the primary source of livelihood. However, inadequate irrigation and uncertain rainfall often resulted in crop losses and low returns.
At the same time, many farmers had become increasingly dependent on chemical fertilizers such as Urea and DAP. We recognized the need to create awareness about soil health, balanced input use, organic manure and sustainable farming practices.
This led us to develop a farmer-centric approach that combines agriculture with dairy farming, organic manure, value addition and better market access.OUR APPROACH

We believe that the future of rural agriculture lies in an integrated farming system.
By encouraging farmers to combine crop cultivation with dairy farming, we aim to create multiple sources of income for farming families.
Dairy animals provide milk as an additional source of income, while properly managed farmyard manure can provide valuable organic nutrients for agricultural land. This creates a cycle in which livestock supports agriculture and agriculture supports livestock.
